Position: Quality Assurer

Reports to: Head of Funding Data & Compliance/Quality Lead

Role Description: The main purpose of this role is to develop and manage the quality standard of apprenticeship delivery making certain standards and improvement strategies are implemented to support standardisation in line with quality and compliance targets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Carry out CPD sessions for the delivery team
  • Undertake observations and IQA activity of key learner processes to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure regular and constructive assessment feedback is given to the coach’s remotely and through regular support sessions
  • Ensure timely achievement of learners while maintaining a high quality of evidence
  • Work to specific quality and compliance targets
  • To support in the preparation of external quality visits
  • Support coaches with EPA preparation
  • Carry out observations of assessment practices
  • Plan, operate and evaluate internal assessment and quality assurance systems
  • Complete learner interviews as part of the observation process
  • Monitor and improve the quality of assessment practice
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress
  • Carry out regular and timely samples of all portfolios
  • Ensure that a high quality of evidence and delivery is maintained
  • Participate in and support the annual self-assessment process
  • To take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant IQA and Assessor qualifications
  • Experience delivering L3 & L5 Leadership & Management Apprenticeships
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners and Coaches
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire, support and motivate people
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to effectively organize and prioritize workload, multi-tasking is essential at RTB
  • Keen eye for detail with a good level of IQA experience
  • We work as a team so we need relationship builders and team players with the ability to work collaboratively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
