Paul McVeigh was a professional footballer for nearly 20 years playing for clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Burnley and Norwich City, whilst gaining 40 caps internationally for Northern Ireland.
He made over 300 appearances and was a key member of 2 Championship winning teams and rose to the pinnacle of English football.
Since retiring, his transition from athlete to a professional speaker has been a seamless one, Paul is in great demand to deliver speeches throughout the UK to a wide variety of audiences. He has delivered a variety of keynotes, seminars and workshops, regularly receiving outstanding feedback from a variety of audiences.
He has recently finished his studies, which means he’s the first person in history to play in the Premier League and completed an M.Sc. in Sport Psychology.
Paul’s first book is entitled “The Stupid Footballer is Dead”, published by Bloomsbury. Paul has taken the lessons he learned on and off the pitch and applied them to aspects of teamwork and performance that can be adapted to any individual or organisation.
In Paul’s talks he will share some of his experiences and learning about what he believes it takes to cultivate a high performing mind in an ever changing and challenging environment in the corporate world today.
Paul has been a keynote Speaker for nearly 10 years now speaking to companies across the world including; PWC, Cisco, Aviva, Grant Thornton, Barclays and many more.
