Now CEO of Radley + Co, Justin Stead was also previously CEO of Aurum Holdings, whose portfolio of brands includes Goldsmiths, Boutique by Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Watches of Switzerland.
During his tenure at Aurum as CEO, the business quadrupled profits growing from £6M in Ebitda contribution to £24M+ in the space of 4 short years during one of Britain’s and Europe’s most challenging economic recessional periods. On the back of this outstanding performance, the business was sold to Apollo international in a signature transaction in March 2013. Justin was born and raised in a small town in Queensland, Australia.
He started his career in the United States after graduating with an Economics degree from Oklahoma State University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas. Justin worked and moved through the ranks of a number of very best in class retail and branded organizations in the United States before rising to Senior Vice President World Wide for Fossil Jewellery and Watches based out of Dallas, Texas.
Justin possesses a very unique, global perspective not only in the business arena but in how to inspire and motivate small and large groups of people to achieve objectives previously thought to be impossible. Before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Aurum Holdings, he served for 18 months on the Board as Chief Operating Officer and Merchandise Director. Under Justin’s guidance and leadership, Aurum Holdings went from strength to strength and is a key player within the global watch and jewellery retail sector.
Justin’s strengths are his ability to be a strong catalyst of change, a vision creator, and decisive strategic thinker whilst being a very inspirational leader to all levels of management right through to the front end of business. Now heading up Radley + Co, Justin’s strengths as a leader and businessman are clear to see.
