Jo Bradshaw is an inspirational mountain climber and adventurer who fund raises for several charities and has reached the highest point of 5 of the ‘7 summits.
Jo left a corporate life of business management in 2008 and has since made some extraordinary memories, pushing her self-perceived limits and helped many people reach their own goals through her job as an Expedition Leader and Outdoor Instructor. She talks the talk having taken part in a challenge back in 2004 when she was a risk-averse no saying sofa surfer by cycling 500km in Peru for Asthma UK which slowly changed her life.
Jo was the 3rd British woman to climb the true summit of Mansalu, the world’s 8th highest mountain at 8163m. She also became the 38th British woman to reach the summit of Everest, which were both incredible achievements for her. However, the achievement which means the most to her is being on route to completing the 7 summits and fundraising for mental health charity Place2Be, totally over £21,000 to date.
Jo teaches and assesses the expedition element of DofE and also speaks publically about changing her life, her experiences on Everest and in the earthquake, resilience and never giving up. Talks are tailored to each client’s interests. She leads both adults and teenagers on remote projects/charity and private treks, bike and horse rides and overseas.
