Ade Adepitan MBE is a successful and respected Paralympic athlete who has won medals with the Great Britain wheelchair Basketball team. He was an Ambassador for London’s 2012 Olympic bid and now sits on the advisory board of LOCOG.
Struck by polio as a youngster, Ade Adepitan MBE is known as the ‘Michael Jackson’ of the wheelchair Basketball world, and is a successful and respected Paralympic athlete. A member of the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball team, Ade has won medals at both the 2004 summer Paralympics and the 2005 Paralympic World Cup.
An ambassador for London’s 2012 Olympic bid, Ade has enjoyed great success within the media since retiring and has featured on many popular television programmes. Ade is one of the most inspiring, sporting conference and keynote motivational speakers we know.
