The first session in the Change Catalyst programme is with Professor Damian Hughes, best-selling author of 12 books including ‘The Barcelona Way’. Damian’s session kicks off the programme by exploring the theory of change:
Drawing upon his academic background and experience in elite level sport, Damian provides practical tips that can be immediately applied back in to the work place to more effectively prompt and manage change.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the world’s greatest minds in this area. The session will help leaders manage their own emotions, increase their self-awareness and give them strategies to help manage individuals who work in their teams.

James Kerr, the best-selling author of ‘Legacy’, spent an unprecedented amount of time with the All Blacks, the world’s most successful rugby team.
Within this session, James draws upon his experience with the All Blacks, and other elite teams such as the Special Forces and the Red Arrows, to emphasise what it takes to be a high performing team.

As well as providing some great examples that can be directly applied within delegates’ own organisations, James provides a framework which delegates can use to turn their intentions into specific actions.
Kirsty Mac, former Head of Leadership Development at Heineken UK, uses her extensive experience working with various organisations across sectors to challenge delegates to think about their own communication and personal brand within their role as a leader.

Kirsty invites delegates to reflect on their current style, enhancing self-awareness and further adding to the leadership toolkit.
The fifth session in the Change Catalyst programme is with Laila Pawlak, one of Europe’s leading thinkers on innovation and disruption. As a lecturer at the world-leading Singularity University in Silicon Valley and Co-Founder & CEO of SingularityU Nordic, Laila challenges delegates to think differently.
This session explores:
Laila provides some fascinating examples of disruption and innovation and brings it all together with an easy to use customer focused tool, enabling delegates to bring the theory and ideas to life.
For the final Change Catalyst session, and to conclude the programme, we will return to Professor Damian Hughes who will bring the key messages together, encouraging implementation and continued application of learning.

What attracted me to Change Catalyst is the idea of being able to connect with people from different industries, exchange ideas and to hear from specialists in the area. I really like the speakers, I’ve heard about the majority of them and I was excited to also attend lectures from speakers I’ve never heard of before, so when I saw Change Catalyst and the opportunity came and landed on my desk I didn’t even think about it.

The thing that struck most about what Damian was talking about is how often are you as good as you can be at work, do you bring yourself to work all the time? I did a bit of a session using some of Damian’s material on mindsets with the team back in the office and we’ve introduced trip-wires because we think they really help.
