Raise The Bar - Inspiring Success Beyond Expectations

Training & Development - High Performance Teams

We believe that high performing teams develop a "one team ethic" where members recognise that team goals and objectives take precedence over individual goals and that the team becomes the platform for individuals to fulfil their potential. Such teams are rare because top performers are often single minded and focused on their own success. Our approach uses some of the cutting edge techniques used by Team GB in the Beijing Olympics. We focus our efforts on creating a high performance culture, whereby team success is inextricably linked to team spirit and the sum efforts of each individual within the team.

Our approach is based on the award winning Drexler/Sibbet Team Performance model. We use this to analyse a team's current situation and then design a series of bespoke workshops to maximise that team's performance. Such workshops may include :

  • Personality Types: Understanding self and others and developing a trust and common language.
  • Dealing with conflict: Understanding differences and dealing with stress in a team environment.
  • Working to Strengths: Roles and Responsibilities - Appreciating and working to the strengths of team members.
  • Vision and Values - Creating and reappraising the vision and values.
  • Team Building - Once a team is working well together, it needs to be challenged to avoid complacency. Our experiential learning programme takes people out of their comfort zone and helps to strengthen and renew the team dynamic.

"I cannot speak highly enough of the job Raise the Bar have done for us. Understanding our needs and the dynamic of the team, building rapport, facilitating impactful workshops which fully engaged every member of the team and providing post session support. The work we have done has had a hugely positive impact on the way we work together as a high performing team and we shall be working with Raise the Bar again".
