Raise The Bar - Inspiring Success Beyond Expectations

Training & Development - Making an Impact

Impressions are made within seconds and if you can immediately make an impact you are more likely to influence a successful outcome. Our energetic and engaging personal impact workshop has been developed from the best practice in Sport, Business and Performing Arts. This unique combination ensures that delegates can learn from the world’s best performers to develop their own effective communication style.

As a coach or sales person, the way we present ourselves to our team and our clients is crucial to building trust and confidence. This session illustrates how body language and verbal communication can affect both you and those around you. If used correctly, it has a dramatic effect on an individual's confidence and helps to support a more constructive working environment. This session introduces delegates to the main components of positive self-presentation.

Session Overview

Preparing for the Day:

All athletes prepare before they perform. We look at ways to get in the right frame of mind, whether it be for a day at work, presenting to a large group of people or delivering a sales pitch.

Body Language - First Impressions and Interacting with Others:

Within the first 5 seconds, impressions are made; and so this session focuses on creating the right impression with both colleagues and other people that you come into contact with.

Verbal Communication - Perfect Delivery and Positive Language:

Take a moment to think about the way you communicate and the words that you use. Again, they have a dramatic impact on the impression you make. We work on this here and give delegates a number of different ways to communicate by focussing on the way they speak and the need to replace negative language with positive language.

Self Confidence:

Step into the persona of the person you want to be, banish any negative doubts and you will create an aura that you are happy with. The session finishes on a high with a boost to self confidence.
